DANN DUNN is Philadelphia and New York based Director/Choreographer, creating award winning works and gaining critical acclaim in classic and contemporary musical theatre with reviewers calling his work ‘imaginative’, ‘passionate’, ‘fun’, ‘energetic’, ‘masterful’, ‘divine’, and ‘stunning’. As a Director/Choreographer, Associate, and Dance Captain, he has created and maintained productions around the world with credits including Madison Square Garden, National and International Tours, Regional theatre, Cruise Lines, live events, and television.

Dann has worked as an Associate/Assistant on shows including THE MUSIC MAN (National Tour), REALLY ROSIE (Bucks County Playhouse), THE WILD PARTY (Media Theatre), Camp Broadway’s television appearances on Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and on the most recent production of Nell Benjamin and Duncan Sheik’s new Broadway-bound BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE at the Delaware Theatre Company, Directed and Choreographed by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge.
As a teaching artist, Dann has a vast background as an educator to performers of all ages. He has been a guest artist with New York’s Camp Broadway, University of Pennsylvania, University Of The Arts, Temple University, Arizona State University, Ritz Theatre, and the Walnut Street Theatre, to name a few. Dann is also the co-founder and co-Artistic Director of MUSIC THEATRE PHILLY, a children’s musical theatre training facility in Center City Philadelphia, with a mission to create a professional training ground for young artists by cultivating a creative, encouraging, and disciplined environment, while maintaining the integrity of Musical Theatre.
